Discovery Island Ice Cream
Discovery Island Ice Cream is located along the pathway heading towards Africa, just before the bridge and near the Creature Comfort shop. The featured items here are the Haagen-Dazs and Edy’s ice cream in a waffle cone, along with the fun Bugs Sundae (don’t worry, it’s not made with real bugs). There is no dedicated seating nearby – your best bet would be to continue into Africa and grab a table outside near the Dawa Bar, or head indoors to Pizzafari nearby. Discovery Island Ice Cream is also sometimes referred to as Safari Ice Cream.
Discovery Island Ice Cream only accepts Snack Credits (
) on the Disney Dining Plans for eligible items, which are marked with the DDP symbol below. Currently, all of the items on the menu are DDP Snack Credit eligible.
