Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon Dining
Both water parks at Walt Disney World offer light meals featuring items including sandwiches and hot dogs, along with a variety of snacks from funnel cakes to ice cream. There are no Signature Dining, Table Service, or Character Dining locations in either of the water parks.
The focus at the water parks is on quick, transportable meal and snack options. Each park has one larger Quick Service location with several entrée choices and plenty of seating, and several smaller locations serving both meals and snacks. At Blizzard Beach, the main dining location is Lottawatta Lodge, and at Typhoon Lagoon it’s Leaning Palms. The other dining locations offer limited or no seating, so if you’re eating around the noon hour and want a seat and a table, head to one of those locations.
One unique option at each of the water parks is the option to buy a souvenir mug which is refillable at certain locations within the park the day of your visit. The mugs include a micro-chip which activates the machine allowing your drink to be dispensed. The current price is $9.99 plus tax, which isn’t a bad deal if you will be spending the better part of the day at either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. While the mug will only work in the one water park on the day it is purchased, you do get to take the mug with you, making a great souvenir for home use.
The Disney Dining Plans are accepted at most locations throughout Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, and are detailed in each location’s listing on the right. Be sure to visit our section on the Disney Dining Plans for more information on how they work.
